What an excellent way of having our TV hidden and still have a spot for pictures and decorations. After building the fireplace and the TV cabinet, the quandary was the hinged lid for the lift and how it negated certain cabinet top decorations. With the flat top lid, issue was completely addressed. Installion was a matter of using shims, as there is no lower memory limit. Easily done. Still have to put knobs or handles on the TV lift cabinet and in the mean time I'm just using a painters tap tab to open the doors. Not that it's needed much due to the IR extender for the lift and another IR extender for the interior TV receiver. Many thanks to Touchstone for all their help.
