Growth of New Electronics: Flat Screen TV's

CEA expects shipment revenues for TV’s to continue to grow over the next several years, rising from $14.6 billion in 2004 to $25.9 billion in 2009.  This makes the TV market both the largest in history and the biggest single consumer electronics product category ever!

The current enthusiasm for bigger, higher resolution displays can be traced back to the consumer’s long -standing quest for a theater-like experience in the home.

Women are left with three options for the flat panel TV’s:

1. On the Wall…always need to decorate around it!
  …Can’t ever move it!
2. On a Stand…Dust Collector
…Dirt particles are positively charged and attracted to the TV’s!

3. In a beautiful cabinet and out of sight when not in use

Given the choice they will choose a good looking, high quality cabinet!
